This is crazy; not only is Nelson a relatively reliable progressive vote in the Senate (he's not got any red flags) and seems like every other democratic senator of a similar age, however.... he's actually won 3 successive state wide elections in a state where democrats have done awfully. He seems like a decent senator, he's proven he can win elections and he'll be a loyal vote for the next 6 years.
Genuine reminder than not every progressive candidate can simply just turn up and take a race for granted because they said the economy is rigged.
