I love how this has literally been bulldozed through the Assembly, there's nothing wrong with the original bill
This bill has not been bulldozed through anything.
Debate time was not cut off early.
Like any bill, it will be given 72 hours for debate, adequate time for anyone who wishes to address the bill in the debate, after which a vote will be held.
Same as any other bill we consider in this Assembly.
Consensus is not a bad thing, Senator, nor is consensus bulldozing.
The claims that you've made about the amended version of the bill are false, we managed to get a working bill through the assembly last time. I'm just asking the Assembly to keep this bill on the books because all it does is encourage shared values across our schools.
By this premise, all education violated parental rights. I have to listen to day to day history lessons where I'm told stuff that my parents disagree on. It doesn't violate parental rights to educate children.
