True im just saying alabama voters rejected him once before theirs a good chance they'll do it again and don't write Jones off just yet

When Jones won, he obtained less votes than Hillary did in 2016 in the state. That has to be taken into account.

When Jones won, he obtained less votes than Hillary did in 2016 in the state. That has to be taken into account.

It was also a December special election, compared to a massive November general election. Can't really compare.

And that's exactly the point. Trump is going to win AL by a landslide whether he loses the general election or not. It remains to be seen how many of those voters are willing to split the ticket for Jones.
