Voted HP (R), but his brand of leftism is definitely preferable to many other brands. I'd easily vote for Trudeau against the NDP, or most European leftists, if forced to pick.

well if you meant that; why didn't you say it? Like it makes no sense to talk about "European liberals" when you mean Labour or the SPD or whoever, and not the Lib Dems or the FDP since the latter are Liberals while the former, well, aren't (well, they aren't meant to be).
