My last three Cricket games have been rained off, which is annoying although I'd take the games being called off at 9 in the morning over sitting around all day only for the game to be cancelled later on...

I've been offered a five month paid internship with the European Parliament, which is incredibly exciting and I'm really looking forward to it.  I've accepted but because I'm incredibly pessimistic I'm not going to entirely believe it until I get the official letter telling me who I'm working for and stuff.

I've never lived away from home before so its going to be a bit of a challenge; but I'm sure I'll manage it.  Looks like I'll be bunking in someone's spare room, which shouldn't be too bad...

Well, I know this is gonna make me look like an awful person, and I'm sure conservatives will have a field day with this, but I'm changing my gender back to "None". IDGAF what pronouns you use, so long as you use the right "your". if you're skeptical or whatever, feel free to shoot me a PM, I'll give you my reasons. Short version is, I've tried life as a "her" and it felt... wrong. Not like me. So, terrible as it may seem, I'm going back.

TL;DR: I'm LLR (he/she/it), and you're not.

You're, what 13, 14?  That stuff is complicated enough for adults with plenty of life experience, I imagine that its only more so when you are that young.  Nothing terrible with trying something, realising that it isn't you and then moving away from it; things might change over time, who really knows.  Its not something worth stressing about though; provided that you're happy about stuff.

I'm not trans though, so my advice might be a load of poo.

Got the next few days off (the joy of living in a Catholic country I suppose); I'm going to try to organise a trip to somewhere nearby.  I was thinking that Ypres might be a good plan; but that's two hours and two trains away so maybe a little adventurous for my first trip.  Bruges is meant to be nice; Antwerp is apparently cool and I'll probably go to all of them anyway; if anyone has any Belgium suggestions then let me know Smiley.

I'm also a little disappointed; the lower league football team that a couple of us when to see on Saturday night (Union Saint Gillois, if anyone cares) doesn't have another home game until mid-November; and my parents are here that weekend so I might not be able to go.  I mean I'm spending all day with them so maybe "Look guys; after dinner maybe you want some time with yourself???" might work?  I mean Dad might be interested but then that'd involve dragging Mum to a 9/10 empty football stadium (they are playing in the national stadium while their ground is being renovated: a team going from a 5,000 capacity ground to a 60,000 stadium creates an odd atmosphere; although there was a great wee atmosphere in the home end and we were allowed to stand all game which usually you can't do at big games) which seems like a bad idea.
