I'd probably consider joining the new ACLC. I think I was still flirting with social conservatism the last time the ACLC was up and running.

I woudl consider joining if they endorsed fiscally conservative candidates.

The ACLC is civil libertarian entity... I don't know of a time when it scored candidates economically... Although my memory of the first incarnation is fuzzy.

I'm just saying that I wouldn't want to join if they endorsed a hardcore liberal; I'm not saying they should grade on economics, I'm just saying that economics are a more important issue to me.

Well this is a group that is just concerned with civil liberties and social issues, they never had an economic policy as far as I can recall. Also the hardcore liberal thing made me chuckle about how warped American political terminology is.

I'll join, my only qualm about ACLC policy is with conscription, which I believe is sometimes needed under some extreme circumstances, but other than that I completely agree with your policy and agenda.

Wow, did not know this would turn into a left-wing extremist group (with the exception of guns) (sound familiar?)

How is this left-wing extremism? This is civil libertarianism, which I proudly consider myself to be an adherent of, and I don't see how this is "left-wing extremism" unless it's now an "extremist left-wing" belief to believe in liberty, small government, and keeping the government out of the private lives of citizens.
