I really wouldn't worry about marriage at this point. If it is meant to be, then it will come as time goes by. Don't force things. Act natural and be the person you truly are.

You seem like a great guy with a big heart, and I sincerely hope things work out for you. You deserve it.

BREAKING NEWS:

I am finally going to meet Tiffany tonight at 5:30 (2 hours from now) at my ex's house.  I'll eat dinner with them and probably watch a movie and then I'll take her and her son home.

I got myself all cleaned up, all showered, beard shaved, teeth brushed, and decent clothing.  I've also got my car all cleaned out so I can take the two of them home.

I am so excited and a little nervous at the same time.  This could be a meeting tonight that has the potential to drastically change the course of my life.  Even though it will probably only be 3 or 4 hours, it could be big.

Please keep me in your prayers tonight!!

My ex did talk to Tiffany today and told her all my good points and that she thinks we'd a great couple and Tiffany is all for it.  That's a BIG plus when the girl is willing to give it a chance.

... tell me about it! Wink

WOW, I'd take a step back if I were you.  Marriage is a pretty permanent thing and you're still young.  Maybe dating for a few years first would be more prudent.  This could just be the excitement of a new relationship, which can fade fast and leave a crappy relationship behind.  Live your lives together before you make a lifelong commitment to someone you barely know.

That and you gotta at least hit it once or twice. You know, would you buy a car w/out taking it out for a test drive? Are you buying new or used?

Obviously used considering she already has a child.

I respect people's choices to practice abstinence in today's world. They certainly have more restraint than I do. I'll admit I think with my dick more that I should, but some others do make good points about rushing into marriage for purely natural urges.

That said, I really hope things work out for BushOK, I really do, because I think he is one of those kind hearted people that sees the good in everyone. I just think this relationship is moving way, way too fast for it to be healthy. Talking about marriage before they have had three dates tells me it is time to sound the alarm. I'd hate for him to be set up for disappointment again, considering his past when he lost his fiance.
