He needs Update now more than anything. Whenever he takes breaks, things fall apart. His weight. His job. You name it.

Yeah the fact he's out of there before 5 every day probably doesn't look too good, and I assume he's one of the first to leave every day. I'm sure there are plenty of other issues he's not telling us about aside from laughing at people who ask him to correct his work.

I think it would look much better if he stayed late to finish projects or learn what he was doing wrong instead of checking out of there immediately when his shift ends. If I recall, he's left to go home at 4:30 before when he hadn't finished a project and just finished it the next day. Imagine if he stayed late to finish it? That would look good for him.

Yeah, his comment about Halloween makes me believe he was given a month or so to turn things around. I hope he can do it, but I have a feeling we will be back on the job hunt fairly soon.

I just fear the worst here. I'm sure there is more to the story, like what, specifically, his boss is upset about. I doubt it's just "focus" and I'm sure he was given specific things he needs to improve on. Only he knows what he was told.

Bushie, what was your weakness? You continue to say you're confident in your abilities... did your boss say you didn't seem focused? Or that you had a poor work ethic/attitude? I don't understand how you can believe your abilities are fine when you just had a poor performance report yesterday.

I hate to say it but I'm guessing that his drawings just aren't that good. They're probably filled with mistakes.

I'd guess the same, considering he had issues with that in school the entire time and never did anything to practice/improve his skill.

I love his classic excuses! "It's the way I was raised, it runs in the family, my kinfolk are all this way."

Bushie, if you want something sweet, can you at least try a mango like I've been badgering you to do for a while now?

Bushie does have a problem. I just wish he could see it like we do. No rational person eats something they know will give them headaches for a week. He just had a problem.

You're perfectly happy drinking something you know will give you a headache 7 nights a week. What's the difference? Might as well eat chocolate every day and just ignore the headache

What? What do I drink that gives me a headache 7 nights a week?

Alcohol? The point is... People make silly justifications all the time. Bushie has a food addiction. Offering him advice won't change his mind if a week long headache won't.

He rewards his brain with delicious tasting fats and simple carbs. It would take a very gradual, constant effort to change his lifestyle... Something none of us has the resources or stamina to do.

Oh, right, I get what you're saying, but if alcohol instantly gave me a headache for 7 days straight when I drank any amount of it, I'd not drink it. I know plenty of people who get headaches from various foods like chocolate or red wine or other things, and they just avoid eating it altogether.

I know he's not going to change. He'll keep eating chocolate and getting headaches, but I guess he thinks it's worth the week long pain.
