Since when does being nuts (if you're a Republican) stop you from winning in a competitive district? See Joe Walsh, Allen West, and...Jason Lewis.

He'll lose because of the political environment. That's all.

I don’t think I’m at peace with the 100% probability that he’s going to be defeated until I’m sure that it’s clear Craig will defeat him by double digits.

Considering that he won in 2016 despite having said that the federal government should not have outlawed slavery, I agree

Yeah, Lewis might win if it ends up as 2016 redux. I wouldn't bank on that if I was a Republican.

All I'll say is that, if he loses, this comment isn't going to be why

That's what I've been saying too. Tongue

It's an indictment of MN-02 voters that this guy managed to slip by to begin with. Considering this district isn't extremely deplorable, I can only assume he managed to fly under the radar due to Trump's own awfulness muddying the waters and distracting from his own. Luckily they'll most likely rectify their mistake in November.

What kind of district does this schmuck think he represents? Is he going to invite Trump to his district next? Maybe he should. It would just seal his fate even more.

Most Republicans act like they're representing Oklahoma regardless of where they come from. They haven't had to pay a price for it yet. Hopefully that'll change this year.
