I voted "No" but upon further reflection it's a great choice. Many of the "red" states are lost to Clinton anyway, but the Shumlin pick might neutralize any Green effort in New England (possibly even holding NH for Clinton) and it would certainly energize the base, as well as young voters.

lol at the idea that Hillary needs Shumlin to possibly hold New Hampshire.

Considering Shumlin can barely hold Vermont, something tells me he wouldn't help very much in New Hampshire.

the point is:  he *didnt* lose.

no american would care...or even know...that he barely won reelection in a heavily republican year due to obama's poor approval numbers.

I'm pretty sure Obama's approval numbers have always been great in Vermont.
