Because the people of New Jersey dislike him, the Republican base dislike him, and he has gone from media darling to widely panned governor. I just don't understand why he thinks he can win the Republican nomination or even beat Hillary Clinton.

Most candidates have gotten their moment in the sun over the past 2.5 years, and the majority of them likely bought their own hype.
