Hope to god Wilders never gets to be pm just a disaster all around that would be

I doubt it since he wouldn't have coalition partners that get him a majority.

Nonetheless, the Netherlands should have a five-percent threshold like Germany to make government formation much easier. It's kind of weird a party only needs around 0.6% of the vote to win a seat.

I wonder if Timmermans's time at the EU and as Climate commissioner was a liability with the general electorate, even if it helped with the GL-PvdA base.

I doubt this was the case. Wilders successfully tied problems like the housing market (similar lack of homes as in Germany) and crime to illegal immigration and asylum seekers while using more moderate rhetoric than in previous campaigns.

My prediction is Wilders minority government that will fall apart within a year or two because he'll be incompetent.

Dutch media are suggesting there is a breakthrough at NATO: Mark Rutte could be appointed Secretary General before the end of March. In that case, the new VVD leader Dilan Yesilgöz would become acting Prime Minister as long as the formation is not finished yet - possibly increasing her chances of becoming PM in a new government too.

Wasn't Stoltenberg scheduled to stay until October regardless of the decision of his successor?

What's the most scenario ahead now? Technocrat cabinet and snap elections? Or minority government with PVV support?
