And Mitt's going to agree to work with a man he hates? That would be would be like Hillary working for Obama...wait that happened...

Are you suggesting that Mitt Romney's political positions and personal convictions might be flexible and up for negotiation? That is shocking news. Just shocking.

LOL, same as Rudy. These guys have ZERO experience in foreign policy. Treasury would make more sense for Mitt.

What about Jon Huntsman? He would be a good pick. Scott Brown? Bob Corker? These folks have knowledge he badly needs.

Anyone not named yet for the State Department? Bobby Knight? Joe Arpaio? Mike Tysen? Chuck Norris? Kid Rock?

Would love to see Trump appoint Tulsi Gabbard to SOS, to indicate his seriousness in moving the US toward a more non-interventionist foreign policy, and as a bridge to anti-war Democrats.  At least Bolton seems to be out of the running.

I just can't imagine that this is happening. As much as I'd like it.

Corker is certainly the easiest confirmation of the four - only far righties are complaining about him.

I could see Corker getting a unanimous vote, IMO

Well, Mitt would also come close to that.

My Speculation: Rep. Cramer of ND gets Agriculture and Rep. Gabbard of Hawaii Veterans.

I doubt it. Scott Brown could be at Veterans.

Trump transition said to be eyeing Navy Admiral Michelle Howard to head the VA. Link tk

Seems like another decent choice.

Veterans' issues are another area I care a lot about, although I'm not as knowledgeable about them as I wish I were.

The number of women in his administration is still horrifying.

The Daily Caller says Bob Corker's chances of becoming Secretary of State were lowered by both allegations of insider trading, and Corker's relatively "short" stature at 5'7".

http://dailycaller.com/2016/12/22/exclusive-sen-corkers-height-business-dealings-hurt-his-secretary-of-state-chances/
Jeff Sessions is no more than 5'7"... I'd say these rumors aren't true except in the shady Democratic grapevine and gossiping corners. This kind of whisper campaign is standard material for both parties.

LOL, Tillerson isn't much taller. He seems only a little taller than Putin, and the Russian is only around 5'7 as well.

Former Lt. Governor of California Abel Maldonado is considered for Agriculture. That one would be a decent choice.

Hope he picks the guy. But it is really sad that there are such few women in the cabinet now.
