Good news for Democrats: In the most recent poll, Quinn beats Rauner by 11 points. The incumbent governor receives 48% in this survey while Rauner only gets 37%.

Barack Obama? I also thought about this, but I think it's unlikely. Perhaps Michelle Obama after she declined to run for the Senate in 2016.
