Earlier in the year, someone said the party would be making its choice "next summer" which some interpreted as summer 2007, but it more than likely means 2008.

Author & Columnist Jerome Corsi has been nominated. Barring a Republican defector, he looks likely to get the nomination, even though he is currently polling last in a list of 10 possible nominees (which mostly includes possible Republican defectors).

Gilchrist has returned to the Republican Party.

Sounds like Corsi has the endorsement of Howard Philips.
