Everett resigned but was re-elected in the last election. That would mean she would have to take the oath of office again and I don't believe she has done so.

Clay was voting most of the time, but has not voted lately.

I'll sign on to bring the motion to a vote, though I am not sure how I will vote just yet.

Can we pass a law that if a Senator fails to swear in two weeks after the start of the session then their seat is vacant or falls to the second place candidate or something. Or would this require a Constitutional Amendment?
