Like the Tea Party, Occupy Wall Street is a collection of different views. The main view was opposing Wall Street greed, but since then socialist, communists, and national socialist (not kidding about that one) have supported it. I saw someone with a sign saying "Housing is a human right" at one of the rallies. There was one rally that vandalized a church.

There are some OWS opponents who support the "1%". (Herman Cain for one who said it's their own fault for not having jobs.) But some OWS opponents are not so much as supportive of the 1% are they are against those pushing for an end to capitalism or against those vandalizing property.

There is a small part of OWS that conservatives / libertarians could support. But they are probably trying to interject their views into the movement the same way the socialists and communists are. These view including getting back to the constitution (because not following the constitution is what allowed Wall Street to gain the power it has). There are also some Audit the Fed people involved in OWS.

Overall, I think still favor the Venn diagram showing the crossover between the Tea Party and OWS (Tea Party - government has too much power; OWS - corporations have too much power; Both - Government grants power and is influenced by corporations.) If both sides would work together to end corporate welfare and stop any further government bail outs I think some good could come from things.

So to the original question, it depends on what part of OWS they oppose.
