Palin and the fruit fly

If Palin doesn't know about fruit fly science research as it pertains to benefiting humans (their generations are just so conveniently short), then she needs to get out more.

Have we had a poll here about whether one thinks Palin is competent to be president?

Sigh, you're right.  Maybe she just skips straight through the boring Science section in the ADN.  (And, after today, the Opinion section, too)

I don't think we've had one in a while.  Certainly not competent to be the kind of president I want.

cinyc, I don't think that was exactly his objection.  It's kind of like reading political spokesman press releases.

We are absolutely outraged by our opponent's hackish deception.  The American people deserve better...

...followed by a statement completely free of criticism of one's own political ideology's representatives, clearly viewing them in the most favorable light and the opposition in the opposite.
