CNN is really slow at compiling early votes.  There are a ton of counties which have been reporting for a while but aren't included.  Then again, it's Texas, so there are ten gazillion counties.

Where can we get uptodate numbers?

You can't, unless you go to each individual county web site...

Wham.  Hispanic counties in.

Bad news for Obama: he needs to not underperform his exit poll numbers, or have >50% early votes.

Good news for Obama: Almost all of his best counties haven't reported any poll results at all.

No, but there are a few semi-nothing Clinton counties.  Clinton counties are, I'm relatively sure, more in than Obama counties.

We'll see.

Unless the precincts coming in from urban areas are unusually Clintonian areas, I think Clinton is going to win this one by a couple of three points.  I may be wrong, though.

Now focusing on anecdotal caucus reports (Sam's inspired me)

Wish I had a better source than DailyKos anecdotal reports...

Texas is looking grim for Obama.

They are talking about a 15-16 delegate gain for Hillary on MSNBC.

That's generous.  How do they figure that?  We'll see how the caucus goes, I suppose.

Anecdotal reports say that Obama will probably win, although not at his usual clip.

South Texas is actually doing an unusually good job of counting quickly.

El Paso...not so much.

TX counted the early votes first.   African American turnout was lower than 2004; Hispanic turnout is higher.  This could end up being bad news for Obama.

I think we knew a couple of hours ago that this was bad news for Obama.  Tongue

Lots of Obamaland coming in now.

Where?  Latest update had Bexar and Travis, not much for either.

I'm going to miss clap-clap-point-point, but clap-clap-wave-jig is an acceptable substitute.

Obviously an error in Brooks, by the way.

The same exact thing happened in Okanogan County, WA, during the primary.  I think it was alphabetizing error.

Or Doddmentum.

Wow, the Texas Democrats are paranoid.  Before even viewing the results, they force you to agree to two separate terms of use and provide your email, phone number, name and home address.  Wtf.

Anyway, by senate district:

TX-8 (: 62-37 Obama
TX-14: 66-33 Obama
TX-16: 60-39 Obama
TX-29: 75-24 Clinton
TX-30: 59-40 Clinton

All I know is that TX-29 is most of El Paso County, and TX-30 I think is Wichita Falls (?).

Is this the primary or the caucus?

Caucus (hence why I have to go through the dumb party site)

mwaha!

County results:

Collin: 63-36 Obama
Lubbock: 55-44 Clinton
Travis: 65-34 Obama

Looks a whole lot like the primary results, actually...
