With Tuesday night coming around the corner, I'm expecting to see runoffs for the following statewide offices in my beloved home state:

Lieutenant Governor: Dewhurst vs Patrick

State Attorney General: Branch vs Paxton: unless Smitherman does something drastic and pulls off a miracle to go to the runoff, he might be interested out of a job.

Comptroller of Public Accounts: Hegar vs Medina: Hegar has been running TV Ads across the state as both Medina and Hilderbran have been AWOL.

Agriculture Commissioner: Opiela vs whoever comes 2nd on Tuesday night.

Railroad Commissioner

Keep an eye on the judicial statewide offices in Texas Supreme Court and the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals

Houston Chronicle has an article on Dewhurst's recent negative TV Ad on Patrick.

On TX Comptroller of Public Accounts: Hegar's the ONLY person running TV Ads so far throughout the spring across the entire state during this campaign.

I have NOT seen Medina's commercials at all because she's been AWOL.

Staples and Patterson should have ran for reelection to their respective gigs.

It's looking like my home state's junior United States Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), likely will decide the May 27th winner in the runoff by making major endorsement because y'all know that Cruz would love nothing more but to stick it to Dewhurst by endorsing Patrick.

Perry, on the other hand, is officially persona non grata by fellow Texas Republicans.

Dewhurst said he's gonna win the runoff, but I seriously doubt it
