Who are the Conservative members from the Colorado delegation?

I think a list of current MPs would be helpful for all who want to join. Smiley

Todd Young for Conservative Leader

Indianapolis, IN

My fellow Conservatives, my fellow Americans. I'm proud to announce my candidacy for the leadership of the Conservative Party.
During my years in the House of Commons, I had the occasion of knowing well Paul Ryan, our current Leader and Deputy Prime Minister. He's a good and nice guy, he has great skills and he's a capable MP who cares about the needs of Americans, but we have to change our political course.
For the last four years, the Conservative Party took part in a coalition government with the Liberals, and that fact has alienated our base.
With me as leader of the Conservatives, our objective will be going back to be the first party in the country and to govern as Conservatives. We are going to implement our platform and in order to do that, if our party will not have a majority in the House of Commons, we'll look to other parties that shares our values and that are ideologically close to our party for instituing a government that will work for all Americans.
When we'll go back to the head of government, we'll implement our conservative policy. This means that we'll improve our education system and will put our children and grand children in the best position to succeed in life. We'll stand with our medium and small business and will remove all obstacles that prevent them from creating jobs. We'll push for an health care reform that keeps health care decisions between the citizen and the doctor, not the federal government. We'll reform the current tax code with a simpler system, we'll cut taxes, so that Americans will be rewarded for their working hard. We'll reduce federal government spendings and balance budgets. We'll protect the right to life.
As a former Marine Corps intelligence officer, I take the national defense issue seriously and we'll push for increasing our national defense and make our country more safe.
My fellow Conservatives, I humbly ask for your support, so that we can turn our party and our country back in the right direction.

Schedule to be posted in this post soon.

Todd Young - Debate Answers

1. Yes, I agree with Paul Ryan. The participation of the Conservative Party in a coalition government with the Liberal Party, our major competitor which pursues different positions than ours on the issues that matters to Americans, has alienated our base. It's time for turning the page. If you'll give me the honor of being leader of our party, our objective will be going back to be the first party in America and I can also tell you that if our party will not have a majority in the House, I'll seek the collaboration of other parties close to our values and open to govern with us for a new revival for this nation.

2. I'll focus my attention on making our country safe, on cutting taxes and on create the right condictions for creating jobs.
We'll increase our defense, improve security system and stop all people trying to recruit American citizens for making terror attacks in our country.
We'll favor our hardworking citizens by cutting taxes in order to favor  prosperity for our citizens and let them to be successful in life.
We'll stand with our medium and small businesses and create the better condictions for letting them to create jobs and prosperity for American citizens. Look, the government will just favor our businesses and our citizens by creating better condictions for them and will not intrude in the decisions of our businesses and in the life of Americans.

3. If the Conservative Party will not have a majority alone, I'll seek the support of the parties most close to us on the issues and ideologically. I think that parties are the Nationalist Party, the Jacksonian Party and the Independence Party. I'm sure that a coalition government with one or two or all of them, depending on the circumstances, would be possible.

4. I look forward to make the case on why I should be the next Conservative leader in this debate and in the following debates and expecially by meeting with my fellow Conservatives on the Campaign trail. My campaign will hit every state and I look forward to meet with the most possibile number of Americans and to answer their questions on the issues that most matter to them.

Statement on MP Rubio dropping out of the race.

I'd like to thank MP Marco Rubio for his contribution of ideas in the republican primary. Both me and Marco are part of that 2010 freshmen class and I had the occasion of knowing him well during these years in the House. Marco Rubio is a strong conservative who stands up for his Florida constituences and I have no doubt he'll continue to do that.
While our field is composed by so qualified candidates, I think I'm the best candidate for Conservative leader. It's time for a change in our party and I'm sure that former Marco Rubio's voters are of the same idea and so, even if Marco endorsed another candidate, I look forward to get their support in the upcoming primary contests.

Statement on Campaign Infrastructure, Strategy.

Today, I'm proud to announce that our campaign opened at least one campaign office in all the states that will vote on February and March. Our campaign is looking forward to compete in all states, in order to gain the most possible number of delegates for winning the Conservative Leadership race.
We are in a strong position in Iowa and we are counting on momentum following a victory in Iowa. With Senator Rubio dropping out of the race, we have more possibilities in Florida, and we are looking forward to compete hard here. We are also in a great position in Midwest, Russ Belt, South and in Western states like Colorado and California, where we'll be able to get a big number of victories. While Mrs. McMorris Rodgers and Mr. Kasich are stronger respectively in Western and Norhteastern states, we'll continue to campaign here, in order to get the most possible number of delegates from these states.

Todd Young (4.1) - Iowa Victory Speech

Thank you Iowa!

First of all, I want express my closeness to Bernie Sanders and his family for the loss of Larry Sanders. My toughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Larry.

I'd also like to congratulate with the winners of the Iowa caucuses of all parties and with my fellow Conservative candidates, Cathy McMorris Rodgers and John Kasich, for their great showing and for their contribution of ideas in our primary.

Tonight, the people of Iowa sent a message. The people of Iowa sent a clear message. Iowa Conservatives want to change things now and I can assure to you that this sentiment is not shared just by Iowa Conservatives, but it's shared by Conservatives all across this nation.

Our participation in a government with Liberals turned our base off. And I can't blame my fellow Conservatives. We are at the opposition of Liberals on almost all issues that most matters to Americans, how can we govern togheter again?
My fellow Conservatives, read my lips. That will not happen again. If we not get a majority, we are going to start good conversations with parties that are most close to us on the issues. This means that Liberals and Progressives are immediately out of conversation. We'll form a government that finally again works for our citizens.

We'll form a government that'll work to make our country safe. As a former Marine officer, I know how defense work. We have to form an international coalition in order to defeat the terror enemies that are threatening us and our allies. We have to stop the recruiting process that terrorists are putting up. We have to increase our national security, expand our defense.

We want a government that not run the life of Americans, but a government that helps Americans to be succesfull in life. This means we'll cut taxes for our hardworking families. This means we'll reduce useless government spending. This means we'll help our medium and small businesses, in order to let them to hire more Americans at work.

We'll stand with the right to life. We'll work to improve our education sytem. Education is fundamental for the life of our children and of all the generations to come. In the House, I have introduced the Investing in Student Success Act which will implement market principles and create an alternative, debt-free student financing option for higher education. I'm proud of that and we'll stood that way.

This race will be a long race. There are still 49 states plus DC to go. This is a great start, but we have to keep this going till the Convention and the general election! We are going to spread our message in New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada and in all the United States of America.

Thank you so much!
God bless you, Gob bless Iowa and God bless the United States of America!

"I'd like to thank all the people of New Hampshire who showed their support for me. Now, we are ahead in the delegates count, and that's what is important. We'll keep this lead till to the Conservative Convention. I'm sure of that. Conservatives all across this nation want a change in our party, a clear NO to a new government with Liberals, instead Conservatives want a government that works for the citizens: a government that ensure security for all Americans, a government that help our businesses, cut taxes, balance budgets, invests in education and schools, protect the right to life."

Todd Young (6.1) - Campaign Schedule

Excerpt from SC/NV victory speech in Austin, TX:
"Wow! What a great night! I'd like to thank the people of the great states of South Carolina and Nevada for giving me their confidence and two fundamental victories. Right now, we are leading in the delegate count, we have won 3 states out of 4, but there are still 46 states and the District of Columbia to go. Just 5% of total delegates have been allocated, and so we have to keep our moment going to Super Tuesday and until the end of the general election campaign. I'm here in Texas, where we are leading. I'm sure we'll do well here, in all other states and that we'll expand our lead in the delegate count.
Our fellow Conservatives from South Carolina and Nevada spoke clearly: they want to change our party, they want a new bold vision for our country, they want a Conservative government that finally works for the people. They want a Conservative government that stands up for lower taxes, reducing spending, a better education for the generations to come, a more safe America. I'm sure you want that too, and please show it by going to the polls on March 1 and on all the months to come and by casting a vote for me."

Todd Young (6.3) - TV AD

To air in the states that will hold a primary/caucus in March:

TODD: "The primary just began, but the voters of the first states called to vote spoke loudly and clearly.
They want to change the Conservative party, they want a new bold leader and a new bold vision for our country, they want a Conservative government that works again for the American people.
They want a government that stands up for lower taxes, reducing government spending, a better education for the generations to come, a more safe America, protecting the right to life.
They want to rebuild the American dream that make our country so great. I'm sure that you, people of [state] want this too, and please show it by going to the polls on [date] and vote for me.

I'm Todd Young and I approve this message.

Todd Young on Musk kidnapped by Russians

My thoughts and prayer are with Elon Musk, his family and his friends. It's great to hear that now he's ok and I look forward to see him back to the campaign trail. Musk being kidnapped by what looks like is a an helicopter of the Russian Government is a serious fact that needs serious investigation.

Todd Young (7.1) - Campaign Schedule

Excerpt from Super Tuesday victory speech in Miami, FL:
"My friends, what a great tuesday! What a great Super Tuesday!
Tonight, we won 8 states out of 12 called to vote. We increased our lead in the delegate count, we have won 11 states out of 16 since February and we are finally leading in national polls!
But this is just the start. There are 34 states and DC to go and we'll compete for every vote, for every delegate and I'm sure we'll win the Conservative leadership and then the general election!

I'd like to thank all the people who decided to vote for me and all the people who participated in our Conservative primaries and caucuses all across this beautiful nation. That's how democracy works, that's how the United States of America work and we are proud to be Americans.

Conservatives all across this nation made clear that they want to change our party. I can guarantee you that this change will finally happen. There will not be other coalition governments with left-wing parties. We are going to campaign hard in every state in order to get the most possible seats and a majority.

We'll finally govern as Conservatives again. We'll cut taxes, we'll cut useless big government spending, we'll balance budgets, we'll protect the right to life, we'll increase our education system, we'll increase our national security and defense, we'll push for an healtcare reform that favorize the citizens, not the government. We'll push for less government in the life of Americans and more about the lifes of Americans in the government."

Todd Young (8.1) - Victory Speech

My fellow Conservatives, I got news for you. We have won the Conservative leadership race!

I started this race as the underdog, but tonight we are here celebrating our victory.
This happened thanks to all our volunteers and to their efforts all across this nation, state by state, district by district, county by county, city by city, town by town. This happened thanks to millions of corageus Conservatives standing up for a new course for our party.

Tonight, we celebrate. Tomorrow, we get back to work for a Conservative victory in November. We'll continue to spread our message. Our message is that we want a true Conservative government that finally works again for the people and stands up for common-sense solutions that favors every American.

Working for the people means that we'll have to favor our hard working families and that we have to favor our unemployed citizens that are looking for a job. How can we do that? We'll help our medium and small businesses, we'll create the right environment in order to let them create more jobs. We'll not intrude in the decisions of our businesses, but we'll favor our businesses. We'll cut taxes, in order to favor every American, we'll reduce useless government spending. We'll create the right condictions for every American who wants to build his own economy activity.

We'll balance our budgets, we'll stand for an healtcare reform that keeps health care decisions between the citizen and the doctor, not the federal government.
We'll improve our education system, because the next generations deserve a better future and education is a key for guarantee that. In Congress, I have strongly worked for favorize our students, and that's what I'll continue to do as the next Prime Minister of the United States.

I'm a former Marine officer, and I know how defense work. We'll work hard for increasing and improving our national security and defense, for making our country more safe that now, for defeating the enemies that are threatening our nation.

We want less government in the life of Americans and more about the life of Americans in the federal government. Our Conservative government will finally works again for the people, for all the people of the United States of America.

Thank you all and may God bless you, may God bless the United States of America!

Todd Young (8.2) - Campaign Schedule

After securing the Conservative nomination, Todd Young will start campaigning for the general election. In this first phase, waiting for the official list of candidates from all parties and for official ratings of each race, the campaign will be focused on defending At-Large Seats and District Seats with a Conservative incumbent and on At-Large races and districts which represent a good pick-up opportunity.

In this week, Mr. Young will campaign in four Midwest states (Iowa, Missouri, Illinois and Indiana). This area is Young's home area and it played well for him during the Conservative primary and the campaign thinks that with Young as Prime Minister candidate, the party can pick-ups seats all across the nation, expecially in the Midwest.

We want a government that finally works again for you, a government that listens to our medium and small businesses and works to fix things that are not working. We know that too many regulations are killing our businesses and we have to act on this. We want more Americans back to work and we know that for being succesfull on this mission we have to create a better environment for our entreprises and for our citizens that want to build their own economic activity and their own life. We can help our businesses and our hard-working families by cutting taxes, reduce spendings and regulations, increase incentives for those, young or not, who want to start an economic activity. And that's what a conservative government will do."

Todd Young: Well, we are looking to a good number of Conservatives for the position. It's still early to speak of a shortlist, we just won the leadership, but I and the team have some names on the mind. I can announce that MP Dan Coats of Indiana, a strong Conservative with a full experience and full skills, will help our team as the head of the Deputy Leader searching committee.
