OK, Minnesota has been in 36 elections.

WV became a state in 1864 and broke with Minnesota 1876-1892 1912, 1952, 1984 and 2000. That's 26 out of WV's 35 elections.

I did however see that Michigan broke with Minnesota only 1948 and 1976-1988. That's 31 out of 36 and probably the winner.

Since statehood/enfranchisement though, DC has voted with Minnesota every election since 1972, and Rhode Island and Hawaii have every one except 1984.
