Kelley was a long term State Senator who served as Majority Whip and known as a stronger advocate for tougher laws against identity theft and stopping online "phishing". He ran for Governor but dropped out after losing the convention endorsement to Hatch. He then ran for Attorney General after the original ethically-challenged nominee dropped out at the 11th hour and won the endorsement, but lost the primary to Lori Swanson (on account of the fact that Swanson was a woman and had a Scandinavian last name)

He was a great state Senator and I think would make a great nominee against Coleman who is way out of touch with a state where no Republican has gotten over 50% since 1994.

Good to see most agree against Coleman though.
