Wow. That act just summed up desperation perfectly.

"Would you give a friend the benefit of the doubt?"

I doubt most people feel the same way toward Congressmen as their friends Curt.

Then some babbling about the good Weldon's done without giving any specific examples. Then the end:

"I'm Curt Weldon. I've lived here my entire life and I approved this message."

What a cheap desperate statement.

This looks like Kennedy's last ad, and what do you expect, a bunch of right wing talking points about Iraq and taxes. Yep, that's all it is. I love how he even threw the purple finger bit in there, like that's going to make people think Iraq is going well. Not that it matters anymore of course:
