I don't see how anyone can even think of Guiliani being VP. He would guarantee that the Peroutka would get around 5%. Kerry/Edwards would win NC over Bush/Guiliani due to much of the religious right jumping ship. There's no way someone as liberal as Guiliani will ever be on a national ticket. Besides, Guiliani doesn't offer any real advantages. Bush is not winning New York, period. Guiliani would get him the state about as well as Bentsen got Texas for Dukakis.
