HPs! The Republican Party stands for freedom while the Democratic Party stands for big government. Democrats love illegal aliens but hate America and Americans! They also hate all our allies, especially Israel. There’s also a deep anti semitism problem in the Democratic Party. For some reason according to the democrats racism against black people is a real problem, but anti semitism isn’t a real problem and shouldn’t be taken seriously. Democrats hate Jews so much. Republicans do everything they can to protect the Jewish people and make sure they have a safe place to go in the world. Democratic president FDR not only set up Jewish quotas at Harvard, but he is also responsible for turning away Jewish refugees and leaving them to die in the Holocaust. Democrats have apologized for their racism against black people, but not for their anti semitism, and on top of all this, Dems attack white Christians as well. The Republican Party doesn’t only support white Christians. They support all Americans of all races and backgrounds. That’s why I support the Republican candidates in most cases, with the exception of 2016.

Given this, it's not absurd to consider that Trump himself is not that right-wing, and certainly not as far right as some free-marketers in the Dem party.

Overall, it faithfully reflects how economically right-wing American politics are compared to European ones.

Even in the wake of the 1925 Scopes Trial (prosecuted by WJB, so both your examples are the same), fundamentalists were still a minority which could be ignored by politicians running for federal office. Which is why WJB was crushed 3 times at the ballot box, incidentally.
Only after tricky Dick's terms in office did they begin wielding political power, as the Protestant Churches lost the less belligerent wings of the their communities.

1) Voting should be conditional to knowledge and history tests.
Failure to pass these tests would lead to a fine, as uneducated voters leads to poorly run states.

2) Voting method should be upgraded regularly to improve satisfaction with results. FPTP has no place in today's world.

3) Election would only apply to the Executive, which requires expertise.
Legislative assemblies ought to be chosen at random among the population.

4) Primary school education and abortion rights should be free and universally available, if required by force of arms in some parts of the world.

5) English should stop being the political lingua franca of the world, instead a revived language that would place everyone on an equal footing.

Earth would then be able to relax and after a few thousand years, most plastic would be disintegrated and CO2 levels back to normal. The damage that the human species did to the fauna though cannot be reversed any longer.

I vaguely remember that user saying he was Jewish, so it makes sense that he doesn't see Jesus as the Messiah. Not to mention many other religions and secular people think the same way as well, so it is hardly an "absurd & ignorant" view.

For example I could easily see outlawing of older media deemed “problematic”, destruction on a mass scale of old and even ancient works deemed “problenatic” (think for example a mass destruction of all movie negatives made prior to 1980). Christian churches would be outlawed or subject to heavy censorship. Racial based re-distribution of property forced by gunpoint would be common and legal. Acts placed upon @enemies” would make Soviet Russia look tame in terms of ostracizing them and eventually disappearing them. The world of the future wherein millennial leftists gain power is a nightmare world that would make 1984 seem quaint. We will face the biggest loss of all cultural heritage of all time simply for revenge’s sake.

I'll never understand why anyone who has the means to do otherwise would want to live in a city. Urban environments are suffocating tar pits which require incredible amounts of work to claw out of. I live in one now (because I have no other choice), and it's just the worst. Driving and parking are nightmares and taking public transportation is incredibly limiting, stressful, and unpredictable. Everything is tiny, cramped, and claustrophobic. You can't see half the sky most of the time. There's constant noise, whether it's sirens, helicopters, people yelling, or macho jerks gunning their cars down the boulevard. Nothing is designed for families. Everything smells. Everyone's stressed and angry all the time. Plus cost of living is so high, doing 90% of the things people claim they love to do in the city is just not feasible.

I can't move to the suburbs fast enough.
