Yep! And one that voted for Trump too!

I decided that after ten years in Minneapolis I've had my fun. There's only so much I can get out of the walking distance of downtown and all the clubs and hipster venues and all that. I mean I do have a car, and owning one here with no parking space is a huge hassle. And then there's things like all the noise, all the crime (I once had a car window smashed due to a drunken brawl nearby or something), and all the stress and hassle. I should grow up and move on.

So I'm moving to Lakeville, kind of finalized the plans this weekend. This is going to be my last month in Minneapolis. Got a place with a good deal, my own parking spot, and all sorts of other awesome anemities instead of just what I pay for now which is basically just for a concrete box. I'll be on the far southern fringe of the metro, and in a conservative area that voted for Trump. But I'll actually be in a swing district (MN-2) and oddly enough a State Senate district with a DFL incumbent who just barely scraped by.

So we'll see how the future goes.

You're finally gonna be able to know what it's like to live in an area that voted for Trump.

I lived in a Trump voting county from 1992-2007, although from 2002-2007 it was in a Kerry/Obama/Obama county in a city that voted for Hillary, and a county that voted for Trump by only about two points giving him significantly under 50%.
