I just remembered that Chen likely staged an assasination attempt on himself to win reelection. OK, I'll try to vote him off next time if he doesn't go down now.

If my counting and research is correct, there only are 3 conservatives remaining. And there's about 3 or 4 who are "centrist" or can't be easily classified on the political spectrum. The rest are all left Smiley

I had incorrectly assumed, since he's from Norway, that Bondevik was a leftist. Turns out he's a Christian Democrat leading a center-right coalition.

So many supposedly leftist European countries with right wing governments now. Denmark, Netherlands, Norway...

Still I'd rather have Ahern gone first. Then I'll focus on him.

let me guess: abortion, gay marriage or another moderately social-conservative position of his.

somewhat. It's actually because he's simply the most conservative candidate remaining. In addition to keeping Ireland's laws on abortion and the like he is current in a coalition with the neoliberal/far right on economics Progressive Democrats.

What do you mean?

Yushchenko pulled the Ukranian troops OUT of Iraq. The Polish guy is the last guy remaining who sent them though I believe, and I hope we can sink him soon too.

oh yeah, how could I overlook Blair?

What's with being a "warlord" in Ukraine though? He only fought election fraud.

The reason there is so few Asians and Africans left is that where all the dictators are, and the non-dictators largely aren't interesting. Hell Kufnor is probably the best leader in Africa currently, and how much do you know about him still? Like Lewis said, geographical balance does not work with KIIC, since the most well known leaders are the really bad ones. For obvious reasons Mugage is much more interesting than Kufnor but we don't want him around.

It is interesting though that North America, a continent with no dictators (unless you count Cuba in North America) was the first one to lose all its leaders.

The reason I voted for Gasparovic is I believe he originally came from the Movement for a Democratic Slovakia party, which was badly misnamed as it was not democratically-inclined, but rather a personality cult for a guy with an authoritarian streak a mile long, like Putin's party.

I only have 3 targets left of people I want gone because I really dislike them, not because they are not interesting. Verhofstadt is one. Guess the other 2.

I didn't know that, but of course so was Chirac.

Why Sampaio? He's a leftist. At least go after Blair or that Polish guy before.

Blair isn't a leftist. He just happens to belong to the traditionally leftist party. Not to mention he's the most conservative person remaining after Verhofstadt.

And with what Bono told me, Sampaio isn't a complete figurehead. He has the power to dissolve parliment and call new elections, which is what he did with the last elections. He then let his party take over, which makes him good to me.
