Yes they will; it will just have a different set of beliefs, and will be called something different.  What do you think political correctness is?

I'm not sure. Whenever I complain when people tell racist jokes or use terms like "f****t", they say I'm "too PC". So apparentely political correctness to some is simply being against homophobia and racism. That's not a bad thing.

It also has virtually nothing to do with the law, since the only laws based off such I can think of are hate crimes laws, which you may agree with or not, but they only apply if you've committed a crime to begin with. So it only affects criminals, while the religious right affects everyone trying to shove their morality on everyone.

Thats true. A theocracy of atheism, where it would be illegal to even speak the name of God in a public place that is not a church.

wow, atheism's going to become the law of the land with only 12% of the population being atheists and no elected officials being openly atheist?  This is interesting.

As for the second statement, people would take you more seriously if you didn't keep using ing moronic strawmen. The only person I've seen suggest anything of the sort here is opebo, and if you honestly think opebo's views are shared by a majority of Democrats or the mainstream of liberals you are a seriously deluded moron.
