If the person preaching ever swears, there's no gasps or immediate reactions. But you can actually feel sort of a delayed reaction like everyone is thinking "whoa, did they seriously just say that?" but it processes about 5 seconds too late. But all background noise and any side activity seems to halt.

On Sunday I could see a girl sitting in front of me was clearly texting. Then the woman speaking said "A lot of the views of purity that get pushed in our society are pretty f[inks]ed up." and she basically complete froze. I sort of also got the impression it'd cause a spit take from anyone drinking water/pop/coffee at that time too.

uhhh... what kind of pastor/church do you have?

A millennial/a mostly millennial one.

I'm starting to think that BRTD is a Seventh Day Adventist or the like.

Nope. I even specifically said that this happened on Sunday.

I actually live in easy walking distance of TWO SDA churches (they're about five blocks apart, I live between them) however one US predominantly black, the other predominantly Hispanic.
