SUSA sucks at polling Minnesota, so I doubt this poll. They had McCain over Obama in October of 2008, and their final poll had him up 3 just before he won by nearly 10.

Also Obama having a approval of 36/54 (way worse than his national average) screams bulls**t to me.

Yeah that's what I'm rather skeptical of. Though snowguy made the best point. Marijuana's already decriminalized and hardly ever enforced here and the attitudes in general are quite lax. I don't know what the actual numbers would be in a referendum, but it's not like the majority of the state is a bunch of Adam C. Fitzgeralds. Most employers don't even drug test for it unless they're part of a national chain with such a policy or are required to by some contract.

If a solid Republican state like Texas is in favor of legalization 60/40, I see no reason to doubt that a solid Democratic state is 60/40 against marijuana.

This isn't really an issue that divides along clear left-right lines.

Well let's consider here. Which is going to be more supportive, Michele Bachmann's district or my neighborhood?
