Swing low, sweet chariot. Comin' for to carry me home. (jmfcst) - The grandaddy of them all. Asshole. Religious heretic. Fundie. Obnoxious. Rude. Ignorant. Arrogant. Unsophisticated. Sock master. Epitomizes everything wrong with Christianity and religious discourse today. Literally the only banned user whose return would make me leave this forum permanently, and I don't mean that jokingly. In fact, I think he may have been the first person I put on ignore after getting sick of his constant BS.
So rightwing that I broke the Political Compass! - This guy was alright when I started seeing his posts, but later it became clear he was just a homophobic troll.
heatmaster - I vaguely remember this guy. Another rude and obnoxious one, I believe.
Wolfentoad - Most people here remember him, but for those who don't, Wolfentoad was this kid who backstabbed people he didn't agree with on the fantasyland game which basically led to a widespread coalition against him. Basically, he clearly wasn't mature enough to handle the forum and eventually he figured that out himself, hence his departure.

So I don't normally put people on ignore, and even when I do, it's usually not long before I un-ignore them unless they're a sock or something.
BringinTheTruth wasn't a jmfcst sock. He was just one of those stupid election time trolls that all disappear after the election. Cliffy was one of those too.
Someone I'm surprised to see not mentioned is dirks, probably the absolute worst of the election trolls last year. In addition to being a hack, a delusional idiot, and incapable of understanding polls he was also a virulent misogynist and racist. Quite amusingly his last post is one on election day projecting doom for Obama...and not a single one after that.

Amusingly I think the only currently active poster I've ever non-accidentally put on ignore is Lief (for about a week in the run up to the 2012 election.) I don't really use ignore much because there's a bunch of posters (pbrower and angus being the two most obvious examples) who I just mentally tune out and skip their posts whenever I see them. Putting them on ignore just draws attention to the "show" button and the post. I've started tuning out krazen as well.
