Harris is pro-gay marriage too. Kind of a moot issue in any Democratic primary now in any state that's at least socially moderate. All the Democratic candidates for Governor this year in Minnesota for example were pro-gay marriage.

So according to the SUSA poll Harris has a 6 point lead, though 26% with 15% undecided doesn't exactly lock things up. And this Delgadillo guy isn't far enough behind to count him out if you dislike both Harris and Kelly.

Oh SUSA also has a Tea Party subsection now. So Campbell does horribly among teabaggers. Funny because he's actually quite conservative economically. But I guess he doesn't hateth teh gays enough for that racist, homophobic bigoted bunch.

Also, the birther queen is running for CA SoS.  If the CA GOP ends up nominating Orly Taitz, even though whoever they nominate is guaranteed to lose, it will be hilar

Pallone's likely Republican opponent does have "Tea Party Approved" on her website though, so he gets to kick a teabagger's ass regardless.

There is not a single county in the country that voted for McCain that I'd like to live in.

Well Kelly is pulling ahead, but with all of San Francisco out and based on what's in, I don't see how he can catch Harris.

Campbell's winning Santa Cruz, fwiw. Probably one of the counties that carries the least weight in a GOP primary.

Campbell may well carry the Bay area. Pity that the number of Republicans there can fit into a ballroom.

I know that.  But as he said, the amount of GOP in the Bay Area literally fits into one ballroom.  Thus, it's almost impossible for any GOP candidate to win the Bay Area (in the current status of CA that is)

     Well he is obviously exaggerating. Off the top of my head, 11% of registered voters in San Francisco County are Republicans, which works out to about 50,000 voters. You got the point, at any rate.

San Francisco has more McCain voters per square mile than Orange County.
