Never been to Michigan. I saw it once when I was in Sault Ste. Marie. Looked like a sh*thole.

Just from looking across the St. Mary's River? Obviously you can't get a very reliable impression of it from that.

Now when you cross the Detroit River from Windsor to Detroit, there is a huge change. But the two Sault Ste. Marie's aren't that much different.

And I have a very high opinion of Ontario.
