May 1st, 2003: 140 US soldiers dead

Feb. 19th, 2007: 3,140 US soldiers dead

If the mission was accomplished, why have 3,000 more US soldiers died?

95.5% of the US soldiers killed have been killed since "Mission Accomplished".

Because it hasn't been accomplished. Everyone admits that was a mistake.
