Full filing here

Why is Trump referred to as "Individual-1" when every Tuomas, Delia and Harriet on the planet knows it's him?

I don't think it's wise for Dems to do that. Alas, they will do it and fail. At the end of the day, if they try, it'll be Clinton all over again. Newspaper headlines will flash: "TRUMP ACQUITTED".

Republicans will have to face all the evidence of Trump's criminality and remember they're on the ballot as well in 2020.

But what's the purpose of putting the country through it?

You are right. Trump should just resign to save America from all the pain and anguish of going through the process of dealing with him. It would be a noble and commendable action, putting the country before himself for the greater good.

So, more chance of me dating Jennifer Lawrence then.

You guys keep acting like you are the winners. Quite frankly, the Democratic Party is in bad shape. You wanna cite polls? Nancy Pelosi is less popular than Donald Trump. Fact.

The Democrats won the mid-terms by a greater share of the popular vote than the Republicans did in 1994.

Why cite polls when I can cite actual elections?

He has been drinking his own kool-aid for so long that almost nothing else gets through.

The irony of that expression is the Kool-Aid or (Flavor Aid) killed people at Jamestown...

A decision that indicting a sitting President without impeachment and removal is allowed could be abused. I can see some DA out to make a name filing a manslaughter charge against a future Democrat President for letting an illegal immigrant into the country who then killed someone...

Is there anything preventing states from prosecuting him now that he is president?

No, but it would very swiftly end up in the Supreme Court. Kavanaugh might have to recuse himself.

I think state prosecution is only likely to happen if Mueller is fired and/or impeachment fails.

Kavanaugh will never do such a thing. Partial evidence as to why he doesnt belong on the High Court.

I think John Roberts would tell him to do so. Especially if it looks like a split Court.

There would be no enforcement mechanism, but having eight people ganging up on you is kind of a strong persuader in any context.

This seems so weird. Who on a jury would trust the testimony of A Russian spy, and if she tells the truth, how can we guarantee her safety. Her choice seems like it's witness protection or jail, and I just don't see why she would want to cooperate. That's a mark that will be on her for the rest of her life. Prison is temporary.

She would have to provide documentary evidence to back up any claims - same with anyone else who has flipped in this probe - Gates especially.

March? That's a long time to accidentally go to Russia or fall down the stairs three times.

Also, he'll be in Otisville, which isn't on a river. Pedantry complete.

Rudy offers a compromise for having Trump sit down with Mueller

Giuliani: Trump will only sit for interview with Mueller ‘over my dead body’

Unorthodox, but sounds acceptable to me.

Trump could shoot him on Fifth Avenue and we'd test two adages in one go!

But the investigation is still ongoing; Mueller is getting convictions and flip witness. Trump could do a lot more if he was so inclined. Like have the Special Counsel's Office mysteriously catch ablaze.
