The fact that it's even tied should be concerning for Dems.

They are the party of wealthy elites. They've beaten Republicans in every election year since 2014 in fundraising.

This is.... not true. There are plenty of 'wealthy elites" that donate to the GOP. There's a reason why the GOP still does so well with those who make $100-250K> as well.

It is true, and it's only getting truer. The sooner you accept this, the more sense everything will make. Every single cycle we hear about how Democrats dominate Republican in X congressional or Senate race, and then they go on to lose that congressional or Senate race regardless because fundraising skews massively to the left. The people most likely to donate to political causes are on the left. The people that control large swaths of institutional power are on the left. Nearly all CEOs of big businesses are left-leaning at this point. This is not the 1990s anymore. There's a reason Dems went from complaining constantly about Citizens United during the Obama years to barely even mentioning it anymore.
