Grandparents:
Both sides are hardcore conservative Republicans on every issue. I've talked to all of them about politics, and I don't think there's an issue that they would agree with liberals on. They're not extreme, but definitely full on conservative.
Mom and Dad:
More socially conservative than me, we're all very economically conservative, though I do tend to advocate more abrupt "get government out of it" solutions than them. They're much more militaristic in foreign policy, and pretty conservative (read: terrible) when it comes to civil liberties and criminal justice issues. I have gotten them to agree with some libertarian issues over the past year or so that they probably would not have agreed to if I didn't exist (like they disagree with the patriot act and don't want to arm all our supposed "friends" in the middle east).
Their perceptions of the politics in general are absolutely nutty though, which I won't get into to, but let's just say talk radio is having an influence. That's my main problem with them.
