Obviously the Democrats. Here's why..

2012 President:

Obama: 3,916,734 (57.1%)
Romney: 2,815,772 (41.1%)

It would probably have 22 electoral votes, instead of the 26 it has right now when combined together. But its as safe as Illinois.
