What potential events could lock up the election for either candidate?

Biden flopping as one would expect in the June debate.

I actually don't expect that at all.

A terrorist attack could lock it up for Biden. I don't expect he'd get 90% approval like Bush but probably enough to lock it up, recall Trump got like a 5 point boost at first from Covid. And I agree that a recession or stock market crash might lock it up for Trump.

Don’t think so. I don’t think there would by any Rally Around the Flag with Biden at this stage. In fact, I’d expect the opposite.

It’s not like the Hostage Crisis saved Carter.

Like I said, Trump got a rally effect in his 4th year. Don't know why it would be different with Biden.
