Do we even know what exactly she is claiming? I've been off the site for a few weeks but followed the news. It seems like it's implied that it's a sexual assault or a rape but I still haven't heard if it's actually that which she is claiming, or what exactly she's claiming. There are parallels being drawn with Thomas but all that was alleged in his case was verbal harassment.

Can I just go slightly off topic by say that I am astounded that Trump has not tweeted about this in some fashion yet, and that his single statement of support the other day was completely uncharacteristically restrained and sane sounding?

My opinion on Trump hasn't changed one iota simply because he shockingly held it together for two minutes on camera for once. I'm just wondering what miracle Handler actually got him to stay on message 4 what for Trump is a near eternity. I'm also wondering how long it's going to take before he tweet something characteristically contemptible and horrid about Ford.

He's tweeted about it.

And I recall similar things from a few days ago.

We know that is 2012, Kavanaugh was a public figure and that her family had dealing with Kavanaugh.

You really think she endeavored to determine if the judge in her mom's case (a routine proceeding to rubber stamp a deal made with a bank) happened to be related to someone she knew in high school?

It might have been mentioned, e.g. "We had a Judge Kavanaugh.  Didn't you go to school with her son?"

I guess. But it's the 2nd time I've seen you bring this up and I still fail to see the significance.

So instead I will be using the threshold of a civil case, which is the preponderance of the evidence, and as of now it's not looking so good for Kavanaugh.

Literally zero contemporaneous evidence other than the initial claims for any of the allegations.

3 separate accusations that he has committed sexual assault is enough for me to conclude that it is more likely than not that he has committed sexual assault.
