I think this is the worst thing he's said since becoming President. I was just sitting there in shock looking at these tweets earlier.

I know he's done much worse than this. But I still found myself shocked.

Yeah I'm not sure he's ever deleted a really controversial tweet (other than typo corrections). There was the one about the Jewish Star that got modified but by his staff.

However Trump's Twitter account is just as much a part of the press as the Morning Joe show is. He has just as much right to attack them as they do to attack him.

He has the right to, of course. That doesn't make it appropriate.

They are both 'the press'. But it seems that if Trump insults Mika in the same kind of harsh tones with which she insults him every single morning then suddenly its at outrage. It seems she can dish it out but can't take it.

Well she said today that she's fine. Also, yesterday she asked her colleagues at MSNBC to cover it as a news story despite the fact they're all friends with her. So I think she's able to take Trump's insults in stride.

TIL the person who previously held Morning Joe's time slot on MSNBC was none other than Don Imus. Oh how times have changed.
Michael Savage and Tucker Carlson had MSNBC shows too.

Fortunately Savage didn't last very long. Carlson was perfectly watchable when he was on MSNBC. Savage was extremely strident and annoying.

... This thread about a feud between three elite members of society over a tweet has 251 responses. Meanwhile, my thread about twenty million lives endangered by a humanitarian starvation crisis has 7 responses. Good job Atlas.

4 tweets actually Wink. And more people died from hunger on 9/11 than terrorism, by a lot. But no one cares. And when Comey reopened his investigation into possible duplicate Hilary e-mails it got something like 40 or 50 pages on here. So basically I'm not sure what you were expecting. Smiley  I agree with your overall sentiment, but it's just a message board, and people talk about what they find interesting. If it helps, I did donate to the crisis earlier this week and would encourage everyone to consider doing so.
