Actually I suppose an absolute disappearance is the most likely event.

Ala, GITMO?

They have their own baseball field?

How do you know that's not for the guards?

It's surrounded by cell blocks.

JJ, do you think the personnel there sleep outside.....I'd call them bunkhouses

No, but I'd doubt that they'd have to wall their ball field either.

From the UK Independent:

Informal discussions have already taken place between US and Swedish officials over the possibility of the WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange being delivered into American custody, according to diplomatic sources.

Yeah, those charges in Sweden have nothing to do with the leaks......  Roll Eyes

Why in the world should he be extraded in the US ? On which grounds ?

Espionage....duh.

Is he officially charged with that ?

Not yet but here is the article I was referencing.

"The US Justice Department is considering charging Mr Assange with espionage offences over his website’s unprecedented release of classified US diplomatic files. Several right-wing American politicians are pressing for his prosecution and even execution, with Sarah Palin, the former vice-presidential candidate, saying he should be pursued the same as al-Qa’ida and Taliban leaders."

Then he should not be tried; declare war on Wikileaks.

You guys do know that such tall majestic conifers don't grow in Cuba or am I missing a joke?  That is Pelican Bay.

Something told me they were not using the seventh inning stretch for prayer.
