Basically, that's the Pacific's attorney? Well, I've done that. Wink We'll hash over my rates and if my services are desired, I could do that. I'm leaning against a Senate run anyway.
Great! Smiley

I HEREBY NOMINATE DEMPGH FOR THE POSITION OF DEFENDER OF THE PACIFICANS.

Mr Speaker,

We need a thread opened to confirm DemPGH for DotP.

Councillor drj101 has not logged on to the forum in 16 days, announced she would leave the forum, did not resign from her council seat, and has missed much more than three consecutive votes. In accordance with Article 3, Section 2, Clause 6 of the Constitution, I move for an expulsion vote.

Wwwwwell. For the moment it looks as though it's just PJ and me.
I think we need to hold off on the amendments until we repeal the resolution on amendment ratification, which is being voted on btw. Wink

I'll defer to Spamage or to Flo if he rejoins us, but if neither one wants it, I will be Speaker. Smiley

I'll just need to know the rules if I take it. It's the RARCO, is it not?
https://uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/Speaker_Election_Act

I need someone to be Speaker in order to close the vote on the repeal of the resolution. I can't open voting to ratify amendments without it.

It's not full unification. This happened back in May, and the Pacific neglected to do anything at the time.

I'd like to remind everyone to post whether or not they're running for reelection in the candidacy thread. Elections for council and governor will begin at midnight on Thursday, Pacific Time.
