I think you could carry them anywhere you want, but you should have them locked up when they're not in use. Gun control is fascist. See, I'm a maverick.
Do you lock your knives up when they're not in use?  Come now.  Teach your kids responsibility.

i tend to think gun=worse then knife, becuase it has only one purpose-to shoot Tongue
And knives.. to CUT, slice, and dice.  What is your point?  Guns can shoot at a tree, and knives can be used to slice some bread.

Handguns - people should be allowed to keep concealed on their person.
People have a right to keep concealed on their person.

No.  A license implies the government pardoning you and giving you a right to do something unlawful.  It is similar to a letter of marque on sea, except on sea you are governed by Admiralty Law, not Common Law.

Why not carry in public?  If the man has committed no crime, why are you infringing on his rights?

Guns are tools of the weak. That being said, I still believe in the second amendment.
Not everyone can stand up and run away like politicians sometimes recommend.  What about people in wheelchairs?

Handguns should be outlawed. There is no real purpose for them.

This topic is called "guns" in response to that I say, I like guns, their fun to shoot.
Now, being serious, one of my favourite quotes about gun control is "there wouldn't be a first amendment without the second" many people would do well to remember that.
Gun control is a stable hand and a keen eye.

As cute as these phrases are, they aren't really anything but cute phrases.

I'm against gun control, but you are not making a good case - or case at all, I'm afraid.
Duh, we're not trying.

I don't think that rifles or shotguns should be regulated. You can protect yourself in your home with a rifle.

Even if that was true, would you outlaw things just because they have no purpose?

No I said there was no real purpose for them. By real I mean legitimate. They do have purposes, such as burglary and murder.
So we should ban all handgun competitions in the Olympics because you don't consider it a legitimate use?

I don't think they have handgun competitions in the Olympics.

Either way, having handguns in the Olympics isn't a legitimate reason for putting millions of people in danger.
So lets ban cigarettes too.  There is no legit reason to have them, and they kill thousands and put millions of people in danger.

People choose to smoke, they don't choose to get shot while walking on the street.

And they don't choose to get a whiff of lovely carbon monoxide + 300 other poisons when someone walks past them, sits beside them, or shares the same room with them.

People don't die or even get damaged from occasionally coming into contact with smokers.
And people don't die seeing or touching a gun either.

Yeah, they die when OTHER people shoot them
And people can die from second hand smoke, the smoke from other people's cigarettes.

This is going nowhere.  What is your point?

No they don't, there is no proof of that.
Are you trying to claim that you won't die from second hand smoke?  Do you think it is healthy for you?

Just because your too stupid to hold a real conversation doesn't mean you've won anything
Well, you keep losing arguments.  Don't think ducking out of an argument I presented counter to your babble is missed by me.

You just frustrate people into no longer dealing with you, that isn't winning an argument.
I frustrate people by being right and giving them no way of countering my arguments.  I one of four leaders of the debate team at university.

They wouldn't let you on the debate team because you don't know how to debate.

No offense, but as a debater, you're pretty mediocre. You provide statistics and then insults when people ask you to back them up. The reason people can't reply is because you give little content to reply to. Sure, your opponent can't reply - but you aren't convincing anyone.
I haven't started debating and you know that.  Did I actually make a case for or against guns here?  Come on.  You know better.
