I think Ivey's got her head on her shoulders and if she wins the primary probably got a good chance of winning.

Agreed. I'd originally thought that Ivey could've been swept out easily by a relatively strong candidate but it's looking like Strange fill that role if anyone.

LA-Gov, MD-Gov, MA-Sen 2010, etc. were all open seat races with awful candidates on the losing side. Ivey will be an incumbent (even if an unelected one) and if she performs even somewhat competently (which she has so far) she will be elected.
