She's just as qualified as Obama is to be President.

And therein you have the McCain counter.

Too bad that he's been saying that Obama isn't qualified for months...

Let's compare.  I'm saying that my VP has as much experience as your Prez candidate who wants to lead the free world for the next eight candidate.  I fail to see how this is a negative argument for McCain.

And now we're comparing degrees and education, lol.

I stand by my opinion - tactically it's a smart pick.  I just have to see her on television - that's the key as to whether it's a good pick or not.

The only intelligent argument to make is the one Salazar and the Democrats are making - it's a Hail Mary pass.

Keep that stiff upper lip, Sam. Smiley

I'd probably be doing the same to other forum members here if I wanted to.  But I'll pass.  Smiley

As usual, it's nice to see the independents and undecideds show their true colors.  I'm amused.

Furthermore, she accentuates perhaps his biggest weakness: he's old. He looks old. Her standing next to him makes him look even older.

Actually, it does the opposite, odd as that may sound.  It'll make Biden look younger too.

Nether is Obama in terms of experience.

Obama has more experience than Palin. I'm not saying he has a ton more, but atleast his past experience is a bit better than being mayor of a town smaller than Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande.

btw, I was watching your French news this afternoon with the GF.  They said that Palin was Catholic, even though she's a lapsed Catholic who became an Evangelical (following the path of every Hispanic in this county, it seems).

Are they always this inaccurate with their reporting

For President? Probably not. But she is running for Vice President has been pointed out on this thread.

That said, given my nonscientific sample of people I interacted with today, including a good bit of Hillary supporters, the inexperience thing is not a talking point. Millions of Americans came up with it on their own individually today, despite a terrible Obama response. That is a bad sign.

nonscientific sample = millions of Americans?

I'm not getting the connection.

Millions of America: "Did you see that Sherry Paylin lady yesterday?"/"Nah."
