Fifth Post a Picture of Yourself Thread

I'm figuring one of these days, someone will drag a picture out of me (when I get a digital camera or a scanner), but it hasn't occurred yet.    I'm not a big fan of being in pictures anyways, sort of like my great-grandfather, who would never let anyone take a picture of him.

Most of y'all look fairly normal.  And riceowl looks like he's having fun because most Rice students are usually having fun and drunk most of the time.  Sort of the nature of the campus where cheap to free alcohol is fairly easy to get.

Fwiw, I like the sig, which I picked up from another Texan on another site.  I find nothing offensive about it at all. 

It's also a way of declaring pride in my home state, which everyone has been ripping on of late it seems (less at this site than others).

I think this whole "offensive" thing is quite overrated anyway, the only thing that should really be censored are those who troll the site and interrupt the functioning of the posters at this site (nomorelies). 

After all, I would never call for censoring the constant deleterious sex talk that goes around here, even though most of it is quite uninteresting and fairly revolting.  I hope and trust that one day people will wise up and learn that sex was more interesting when everyone was in the closet  and euphemisms and double-entendres were the only way of sneaking sex into everyday life.  But that'll probably never happen, so I'll live what we've got and reminisce.    (end of rant)

For all those offended, I usually change signatures every few weeks, so you'll probably see it gone in a week or so.

But if Dave contacts me and asks me to take it down before that time, I will.  Ilikeverin stays, however.

What is up with the long hair? I thought the hippy age was over....

Yep a lot of the guys I've met in the generation below me, like 21 or younger, all have long hair.  Most of the women I've met simply do not know how to dress (ie, dress like sluts).  I hope this is just a minor trend that will peter out in a few years, because the last thing we need is more air-brained hippies in this world.

Anyway, someone remarked that I look like Peyton Manning a few days ago, though I'm a little bit shorter.  Another reason why I won't post my picture here.

Nomo being French would explain a lot a things:  the lack of quality within some of her English prose at times, the pointless anti-Christian bigotry from a "Catholic", the posts about soccer, which no one should really care about, etc. etc.

However, it would take an awful, awful lot (considering Nomo's past lying and obfuscation among other things) for me to ever even start to believe that these are actual pictures of Nomo.  After all, the easiest way to gain acceptance among of forum of mainly adolescent male participants is to portray yourself as a cute, young, nubile girl.

It worked for Texasgurl, and she's been about as nice to most of us as nomo has.

Everyone seemed to believe me without holding up a sign.  I don't see why she has to, although I am a bit skeptical.
