I would like to buy the Triad Triplets and move them to New Orleans if possible, so they can become the Saints, play in the Superdome and be crappy forever.  Smiley

Sure, I'll sell it to you for $1.5 million (since they are going to play like the Saints)

Great!  Just my type of team.  I'll buy it!

oooh, the Bandits and the Saints can be rivals!

You can count on a couple of wins ever year at least, because the Saints will always be terrible.

But at least they have a nice stadium Wink

Do we get dibs on the Super Bowl rotation?

SamSpade:  You ought to take the Saints from their first year when they went 0-14. Smiley

Not with these type of teams playing against me.

I would like to select the 1993 Dallas Cowboys as my team.  Smiley

Akno, I believe SamSpade's New Orleans Saints will be the New Orleans Saints...
Considering the Saints sucky qualitities and the fact that there are no teams in Texas, I determined that it was my prerogative to pick the best team in Texas I knew of.  Smiley

Sorry I didn't visit this thread sooner.

I'll base my team on the 1999 Tennessee Titans.

I'd like to play at the Superior Dome in Marquette, MI.

Theoretically, your acquistion of the Titans should allow you to play the Houston Oilers as well if you wanted too.

I'm surprised no one's picked the Browns.  The '87 Browns were an awfully good team.  Or you could pick one of teams Jim Brown played on.

Good game, Bandits.  Couldn't hold y'all from scoring at the end of the game to take the win.

We'll see you again in week 12.  Smiley

You guys are only last in the league, no big deal Wink

Fortunately 0-3 is not exactly the kiss of death in the AFL, 0-4 probably will be, though.  The number of close losses is getting aggravating though.  Smiley

I'll try to do stats for the Saints soon too, though they won't look that great.

Saints win 2 in a row, holding Robert Smith to 44 yards rushing.  Woo-hoo!

Just as a question, King, why are my Saints now playing at Adelphia Coliseum?

Something's wrong here.

You have the Western-New Orleans game as being between the 1999 St. Louis Rams and the 1991 Washington Redskins.  New Orleans is playing the 1993 Dallas Cowboys.

I should hopefully know as I am the team owner.  Smiley

You should be proud, Saints. You are better than the '72 Dolphins! (Jackson)

Hey, I don't mind losing.

I would just like to lose as the correct team, that's all.  Smiley

Go Saints!  4 in a row, though I must admit this week's game was an ugly one.  Smiley

Go Saints!  6 in a row now for a tie of the division lead with the X-Men!

Reminds me sort of the '93 Cowboys, who lost their two opening games, then won 15 out of their last 17.  Smiley

Rematches are so beautiful.  Smiley

8 in a row for the Saints.

Considering Atlasia is pretty much backwards of America right now; here the Reps are clueless and ineffectual and the Dems are powerful and ruthless, I think it's now time for this designation:

The New Orleans Saints are "Atlasia's Team"!!

   New Orleans (13-4)
1   at Jackson (L 15-22)
2   CAROLINA (L 7-13)
3   at Richmond (L 21-23)
4   at Ohio (W 31-3)
5   ATLANTA (W 19-12)
6   at Western (W 31-24)
7   NEW YORK (W 7-6)
8   CLEVELAND (W 22-17)
9   BUFFALO (W 23-17)
10   off
11   PHILADELPHIA (W 24-3)
12   JACKSON (W 24-3)
13   at Atlanta (W 20-13)
14   at Carolina (W 38-10)
15   at San Diego (L 13-27)
16   RICHMOND (W 29-23)
17   at Bay State (W 27-0)

Playoffs:  Federal Finals vs. NY Emperors (W 12-10)

So, I guess this means this week's standoff with the X-Men at the Superdome will probably come close to determining who wins the Southern Division.

If the Saints win, they win the division.  If the X-Men win, they only need to win the week afterwards or have the Saints lose to win the division.
