Lazio has $688K CoH, which includes a $200k loan he made to himself

Pretty sad, but expected.

Was reading NY Post today at lunch.

Apparently both Spitzer (2006) and Pataki (2002) had more CoH at this point than Cuomo ($36 million and $32 million respectively), although it really doesn't matter.

The NYT story says this though?

Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo’s campaign for governor said on Thursday that it had raised more than $9 million in the first half of the year and had $23.6 million on hand.

The latter figure is the largest ever reported by a statewide candidate, according to an analysis by the New York Public Interest Research Group.

Hmmm...  Gonna have to actually look this up, since in terms of accuracy I trust neither paper.

This story for Spitzer as of July 18, 2006 says $16 million CoH as of that date, so it appears like NYT was right in that regard.

Same article says Pataki spent (and therefore obviously raised) $45 million in 2002, but I don't have specifics on July numbers.
